“Journal writing, when it becomes a ritual for transformation, is not only life-changing but life-expanding.” – Jen Williamson.
Well, the journaling challenge begins today. I’m nervous, as always, to do this. Whenever I start something new, I get nervous. It happens when I’m trying a new hairstyle. Or starting a new project. I always get over it though. Except when trying to start a new conversation. It gets harder on that one.
What I did
I woke up this morning lazily, to be honest. But you can’t host laziness for long when you got a house to mop, breakfast to make, clothes to wash and an assignment to submit. That being said I did house chores, read 5 pages of my current read, and video-called some friends.
What I read
I’m currently reading Algorithms to live by written by Brian Christian and Tom Griffiths. I just read 5 pages, cheers to laziness! So far the book explains the role of algorithms in daily lives. Algorithms are finite sequence of steps to solve problems and make decisions. You can apply them while hiring employees, choosing a life partner and much more. As I read the book I’m promised to learn the many types of algorithms. Can’t wait to finish this one!
What made me laugh
There’s this sticker of a baby staring disgustingly at something. The big cheeks and sitting posture of the baby are one stock of laugh itself. It made me laugh at the sight of it.
That’s my day in a nutshell. ✌️🏽
